Reusable. Our system is made from a specialized blend of fabrics designed to withstand years of continuous use.

Is your system considered a hard or soft restraint?
Both. Its unique design and materials allow it to function as either.

Is the system only used in hospitals?
No. It is used across multiple industries, including hospitals, correctional facilities, long-term care, air safety, and ambulances.

How do you wash the system?
The fabric is antimicrobial. For cleaning, simply use soap and water. Please refer to our washing instructions for full details.

How many points does the system use?
It can be adapted from 1 to 7 points, depending on facility policy and patient needs.

What sizes are available?
The Pinel system is one-size-fits-all.

When should products be replaced?
As a general guideline, every 2–3 years, depending on usage, washing, and patient population. See our website instructions for details.

No. Repairs can compromise safety and functionality.

What if the button is difficult to open?
Most likely, the button needs replacement. Please see our instructions for guidance on when to replace and how to use the emergency release options.
